Sabarmati Ashram

It is also known as Gandhi Ashram is one of the most famous places in the city. As the name suggests located on the banks of Sabarmati River

And a place is known to be the legend Mahatma Gandhi’s Residence. There is a small museum in the ashram which displays the life of the Indian Legend Gandhiji.

Kankaria Lake is the biggest lake in Ahmedabad. Located in the southern part of the city, the lake provides an amazing view with an entertainment zone in the front which is an ideal place to spend time with family as well as friends.

Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary

It portrays a beautiful natural lake spread over a large area of about 116 so. km. The mesmerizing beauty of the place portraying the most amazing scene the golden hour of the sunset is a major attraction of the place.

Lal Darwaja

It is a famous local market of Ahmedabad which is famous for traditional things. The market offers a number of shops with shops in the footpath offering various items where a good bargainer can use his skills to get the best out of it. The place is always crowded with a lot of people.

Akshardham Temple

It is known to be one of the largest temples in Gujarat which is dedicated to lord Swaminarayan. The temple is a fabulous work of architecture and a perfect combination of entertainment too. The main attractions of the temple are its 10 stories tall golden idol of Swaminarayan and the light and music show which mark the majority of people visiting at this time of the day. Millions of people are estimated to visit the temple each year.

Siidi Sayed Mosque

It is a brilliant architectural monument off Ahmedabad. The carved jaalis in the windows of the western walls are a fascinating part of the monument. The carvings in the mosque are so fantastic and detailed that they have become a symbol of the city of Ahmedabad.

Sundervan

It is a heaven for nature lovers. A mini zoo spreading awareness in the hustle bustle of the city, the place is best known for a variety of snakes including the Russel’s Viper, Red Sand Boa, and the revered Indian Cobra. There are also various other animals including marsh crocodile, tortoise, porcupine, pheasant crows, love birds, peacocks and a lot of other animals. The place also has a small aquarium and bird section which is another highlight to the zoo.

Parimal Garden

It is an incredibly beautiful place with greenery and flowers all around. The garden is a paradise for nature lovers. The charismatic beauty of the flowers spreading their colors and fragrance. The park is a good place to spend some leisure time.
