The temple is devoted to Hidimba Devi, wife of the strongest and giant Pandavas “Bhima.” The whitewashed base, mud-covered stonework, carved wooden doors, and perfectly crafted roof enhances its beauty. Solang Valley

Soland Valley is a canal which lies between Solang (a village) and Beas Kund. It is only 14-kms away from Manali. Bijli Mahadev

Bijli Mahadev is a Lord Shiva template in Manali situated at 7500 ft. It is one of the mysterious temples of the world. According to local Kullu natives, Vashistha Muni urged Lord Shiva to control the lightning to save the world from destruction and Lord Shiva accepted his prayers and controlled it. For marking this incident, a temple was constructed on this site known as “Bijli Mahadev.”
The temple is about 50 km away from Manali and takes 90-100 minutes to reach. The journey to the temple includes 3-km Manhat mountain foot trekking.

Great Himalaya National Park
