Harbour Bridge

It is one of the best spots to take pictures of the Opera House. The bridge is nicknamed “The Coathanger” because of its arch-based design. The iconic view of the bridge, the harbor, and the Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney and Australia. This is a phenomenal place to visit while the New Year’s Eve when the site of firecrackers in the bridge attracts a number of people from all over the country and outside.

Sydney Opera House

The Opera House is one of the most distinctive and famous 20^th-century buildings and one of the most popular performing arts venues in the world. It is a very important landmark of the city which is a skyline-dominating arts center for opera, theater, music, and dance. Situated on the Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbor, with parkland to its south, the building and its surroundings form an iconic Australian Image.

Sydney Tower

It is the tallest free-standing structure and the second tallest building in Australia.It is known by locals as the Centrepoint Tower, after the shopping center building the tower sprouts from. Sydney Tower Skywalk is an open air, glass-floored platform circling Sydney Tower at a height of 260m. This attraction is more than twice as high as the popular BridgeClimb walk to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge. The moving viewing platform extends out of the edge of the main structure of Sydney Tower. The inland features like the Blue Mountains can be seen at a further distance from the tower.

Taronga Zoo

Harbourside zoo which is linked to Dubbo’s Western Plain Zoo in terms of breeding programs. This zoo is home to about 2,600 animals with 340 different species which are housed in a large variety of exhibits. Spread on an area of about 28.7 hectares, it is one of the largest zoos of its kind which is divided into eight zoogeographic regions with numerous indoor pavilions and outdoor exhibits.

The Rocks

This is an urban locality, tourist precinct and historic area of Sydney’s city center. It is located on the southern shore of Sydney Harbour with the close proximity to Circular Quay and the views of the iconic Harbour Bridge, as well as historic nature of many buildings. It features a variety of souvenir and craft shops, and many themed and historic pubs.

Darling Harbour

A waterfront destination housing many of Sydney’s major attractions and hosting large scale events. The main attractions include Sydney Entertainment Center, Tumbalong Park, Sydney’s Chinese Gardens, Australian National Maritime Museum, The Star Casino, Sydney Convention, and Exhibition Center, Wildlife World, Sydney Aquarium and The IMAX theater.

Bondi Beach

This is Sydney’s most famous beach which is approximately one kilometer long and attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year. The beach features many popular cafes, restaurants and hotels, some with spectacular views of the beach and surrounding headlands.

Royal Botanic Gardens

A haven for city wildlife, the Royal Botanic Gardens are the largest of three major botanic gardens open to the public in Sydney. It is a simply breathtaking place with free entrance to most of the gardens. The gardens offer a rose garden, fernery, ‘Jurassic Jungle’ for kids and a lot more.

Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains National Park is one of the most popular parks in Australia. The phenomenal views above cliffs and the waterfall attract a large number of tourists in and outside the country. The popular activities include canyoning and mountain biking.

Manly Beach

A part of the northern beaches in the city in Manly, New South Wales. The access to the beach from the city is via an a30-minute ride on Sydney’s Ferries which makes it popular among the tourists and is host to a number of international surfing events.

Sea Life Sydney Aquarium

The Aquarium contains a large variety of Australian aquatic life, displaying more than 700 species comprising more than 13,000 individual fish and other sea and water creatures from most of Australia’s water habitats. It is an amazing place for visitors and such a delight to watch the sea life from so close.

Hyde Park

The park contains well-kept gardens and approximately 580 trees. It is framed for its magnificent fig tree-lined avenues, a peaceful haven in the city. The park is bordered by many significant buildings and contains statues of famous Australians.

Sydney Olympic Park

It is a large sporting, cultural and leisure complex in the western part of the city. It was built for 2000 Olympics and continues to be used for sporting and cultural events, including the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Festival, Big Day Out and a number of world-class sporting fixtures.

Sydney Wildlife World

This is a zoo located on the shores of Darling Harbour and is attached toS Aquarium. This is an unusual zoo which is entirely enclosed and air-conditioned. The indoor zoo features a one-kilometer walkway which features around 6000 native animals.
